Link Building Tools

Building links to a blog or website is never an easy task. However, there are some link building tools I love to recommend.

  • Ahrefs
  • SemRush

Ahrefs

This is my favorite tool for watching my competitors. Pluck a competitors URL, paste it into Ahref’s and you can see all websites linking to the site.

Another good function of the tool is that it shows each of the individual pages that the site links. This information guides you into knowing the type of content you should post to attract links from sites linking to your competitors.

Semrush

According to crazyegg, one of the primary tools for keyword analysis is SEMrush. Here is what he had to say about the tool

And while many marketers think of it primarily as a tool for researching their competitors’ keywords, it can also be extremely useful for finding link building opportunities.

This is especially true if you use the built-in Link Building Tool, which was specifically designed to help site owners evaluate link prospects, track new links, and track link building progress

Drive Traffic to Blog

When applying for Adsense for the very first time, it is a good practice to already have traffic. So many bloggers forget to say it. but you should know that this is a very good practice.

Use Social media to Drive traffic

There are several ways to drive traffic to a blog. But some of the popular ways this is done is through social media. Traffic from social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn are good. But often they are no-follow links.

Money is in Your Email Listing

Another way to drive traffic to your blog is through email listing. Basically what this means is you offer your audience something for free. In return, you ask for their emails. Email listing is the most lucrative way to drive traffic to a blog.

I strongly advise you to give something of quality in exchange for collecting emails. No one will sign to your email list if what you give isn’t quality. Convertkit is a good email collection tool. Other tools are Aweber, MailChimp, Hellobar.
